Signing in
You get into the inbox from a personal sign-in link. There’s no password to remember.
Your sign-in link
Your link is yours alone. Open it and you’re in, from any of your devices. It doesn’t expire: it works until someone switches it off.
Keep it somewhere easy to find, such as a bookmark, and never forward it. Anyone who has the link can open the inbox as you, with no password asked.
A sign-in link opens the inbox and nothing else on the website.
From a text alert
If your phone number is attached to your sign-in link, the link in each text alert opens straight to that enquiry. That link signs in whoever opens it, so don’t forward the text either.
If your link stops working
It has been switched off or replaced. Ask your website administrator for a new one. Only an administrator can issue sign-in links.
If you already log in to the website
People with a username and password for the website can reach the inbox that way too, as long as they’ve been given access to it. Open the inbox address and you’re sent to your website’s normal sign-in page, then back to the inbox once you’re in.
When someone leaves
Ask for their sign-in link to be switched off. They lose access straight away. Ask at the same time for their number to be taken off the text alerts.
