Your inbox
What the list shows, what the statuses mean, and how to handle an enquiry from start to finish.
The list
Enquiries are listed newest first. Each row shows when it arrived, who it’s from with their email and phone number, which form they used, the start of their message, and its status.
Above the list you can filter by form or by date, and use the quick ranges for the last 3, 7 or 14 days. Search looks at the name, the phone number and the message. Searching by email address doesn’t work yet.
Your inbox may be called Leads, Contacts or Enquiries, depending on how it was set up. These pages say enquiries.
What the statuses mean
New. Nobody has dealt with this enquiry yet.
Contacted. You’ve reached out and are waiting to hear back.
Actioned. Finished. The enquiry has been handled.
Spam. Junk. This one removes the enquiry, so read Marking spam first.
Handling an enquiry
1. Open the enquiry from the list to see everything the person sent.
2. Use Email them or Call them to get in touch, then press Mark contacted.
3. Add a note about what happened.
4. When the enquiry is finished, press Mark actioned.
Notes and the history
Notes keep a record for you and for anyone else who helps with enquiries. If you’ve actioned something, a note tells the others it’s been dealt with and what was said.
Status changes are recorded for you, each with its date and time, so there’s a history under every enquiry.
Changing several at once
Tick the boxes beside the enquiries in the list, then press one of the buttons above it. You can change up to 50 at once, which is everything on one page.
